SWEENEY, MURIAL F. - The death of Murial F. Sweeney of Smithtown, widow of Maynard Sweeney occurred September 23, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born at Smithtown, daughter of the late Burpee and Nellie (Bell) Smith. She was a school teacher and taught at several N.B. Schools. Murial was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Smithtown and Hammond River Valley Seniors. She is survived by one step-daughter Phyllis Montieth (Philip) of Hampton; one step-son Ernest Sweeney of B.C.; one sister-in-law Annie Smith of Smithtown; and one niece. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Monday, 2:00pm at Holy Trinity Church, Smithtown with Rev. Philip Pain officiating.
