SAUNTRY, MARY THERESA - The death of Mary Theresa Sauntry of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, October 2nd, 2004. Born in Williamstown, NB, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Victoria (Donahue) Sauntry. Mary was a member of St. Dunstan's Church. She was payroll officer for the Dept. of Education retiring in 1992. Survived by eleven brothers: Raymond Sauntry (Sheila), Merlyn Sauntry (Jeannette) and Eugene Sauntry all of St. Catharines, ON; Frank Sauntry (Jeannette), Ronald Sauntry (Sonya) all of Fredericton, NB; Benedict Sauntry (Betty) of New Glasgow, NS; Michael Sauntry (Margaret) and Robert Sauntry all of Williamstown, NB; Vincent Sauntry (Denise) of Edson, AB; James Sauntry (Muriel) and John Sauntry (Phyllis) of Edmonton, AB; nine sisters: Olive Sauntry of Welland, ON; Gladys Cummings (Gerald) of Maine, USA; Cecelia Assaff of Bathurst, NB; Pauline Fowlie of Chatham, NB; Rosalie Woodburn (Gordon) of Ottawa, ON; Patricia MacDonald of Sussex, NB; Deborah Duke (Ron) of Williamstown, NB; Donna Gallant (Calvin) of Hardwoodlands, NS; Peggy Weale (Terry) of Fredericton, NB; one brother-in-law, Wendell Johnston of Red Bank, NB; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, one brother, Joseph and a sister Jean Johnston Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 5th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 6th, 2004 at 12:00 noon. Monsignor Brian Sheehan as celebrant. Interment will be in the Hermitage Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
