MARY ELIZABETH "BETTY" MUNN
MUNN, MARY ELIZABETH "BETTY" - of Sherbrooke Street, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 7, 2004. Born in Shediac, NB., she was the daughter of the late James and Eva (Cormier) Fougere. Betty worked at the Saint John Regional Hospital in the Dietary Department for many years, retiring in 1984 to care for her first husband. Her passion was bingo and as she was a devoted player, she would travel anywhere to "catch a game". She loved her family dearly and blessed them with wonderful memories of life with mom. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by many close friends, especially Ruby, Ed and Evelyn and her loving family. Betty is survived by her children Cathy (Paul) Bordage, David (Judy) Collins, and Brian Collins all of Saint John, NB., son-in-law John Gray, Hampton, NB., brothers Leonce (Jackie) Fougere, Gerald Fougere, Emile Fougere, Ovid (Ollia) Fougere all of Shediac, NB and Paul (Janice) Fougere, Ottawa, On., sisters Freda Flemming, Rachel (Marcel) Voutour, Rita Fougere all of Shediac, NB., and Sara (Bill) Ferguson, Moncton, NB., Elsie (Tony) Henriksen, Windsor, ON., Noela (Wayne) Bydges, Maitland, ON., and Claire (Walter) Gerrett, Montreal, PQ., brother-in-law Jack (Sandra) Collins, Lower Sackville, NS., grandchildren Scott, Nicole, James, David, Lisa, and Jonathan, great grand daughter Emily, as well as, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased her his first husband Curtis Collins and her second husband Hershel Munn, daughter Nancy Gray, brother Vince and sister Yvonnne. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visitation on Saturday 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 11, 2004 from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 1 pm. Interment in Cedar Hill Entension Cemetery with a reception to follow in the Fallsview Family Reception Center. Donations in Betty's memory may be made to the charity of donors choice.
