RIORDON, GERALDINE ALICE - With love and sadness, we announce the death of Geraldine Alice Riordon. She passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, October 8, 2004. She was born in Riordon Corner on January 10, 1912 and was a life long resident of that community. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Anne (Barry) Riordon. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sisters Martina Riordon Foley and Ella Riordon and her brothers Barry, Thomas, John, Ray, Herman, Guy, Lawrence, Gerald, Redmond and two infant brothers Francis and Joseph. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Nettie Riordon (Thomas), Clare Riordon (John), Eileen Riordon (Ray), Bernadine Riordon (Guy) with whom she resided, Annie Riordon (Lawrence), many nephews and nieces, grand nephews and nieces, and great grand nephews and nieces. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her. Resting at LeGresley Funeral Home, Grande-Anse, NB, visitation will be on Sunday, Oct. 10, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9, and Monday from 9:30 to 10:40. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St-Simon and St-Jude Church, Grand-Anse, NB, Monday, October 11, at 11:00 hrs. Burial will take place in parish cemetery.
