Ellen Raddin Ellen Raddin, age 93, of Amherst, passed away at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Center on Monday, February 19, 2007 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Tidnish Bridge, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy "Dolly" (Linforth) Mosley. Ellen worked for a number of years as a buyer for Margolians in the Shoe Department. In her later years she owned and operated Radones Antique Shop. She enjoyed travelling, painting and dancing, in addition to being an avid fisherman. She was known for her sense of humour. her home was always open to family and friends. She always had a pot of tea and a pot of stew on the stove. She will be sadly missed by her son Gary (Jean), Amherst and daughter Sylvia (Ivan) Gould, Amherst, grandchildren Wendy (John), Terry, Gary (Victoria), and Cheryl (Ken), Mark, Glen, and Betty-Jo (Phil), 9 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a brother John (Ruth) Mosley, Tidnish. She was predeceased by a brother Thomas and sister Connie Helm. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong~Jones Funeral Home (667-8777). A memorial service will be held at the Furlong~Jones Chapel, 66 Church St, Amherst on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 10 am, Rev. Sheldon LeGrow officiating.
