ELIZABETH JEANNE TWEEDIE
TWEEDIE, ELIZABETH JEANNE - The death of Elizabeth Jeanne (Donovan) Tweedie of Birch Street, Kelowna, B.C. occurred on Monday, October 18, 2004 at Kelowna General Hospital. Born in Saint John on April 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Clement King and Olive Beatrice ( Prince) Donovan. Jeanne lived and was educated in Saint John and then moved to Montreal where she resided for forty years. While living in Montreal she worked at Rolls Royce. Upon retirement she moved to Kelowna to be with her children. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Tweedie of Kelowna, B.C., three sisters, Mary Cooke, Janet Devlin ( Paul) of Rothesay, and Barbara Pickard of Pasadena, California and two brothers C. Douglas Donovan (Betty) and John E. (Carole) of Rothesay and several neices and nephews. Jeanne was predeceased by her son Michael Tweedie in January, 2003. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Trinity Church on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. www.brenansfh.com
