McCARTHY, PAUL L. - In Ottawa Paul passed away suddenly at his home in South Mountain, Ontario, at the age of 47. Dear son of Shirley McCarthy-Stegmayer and the late Leonard J. McCarthy. Stepson of the late Henry (Hank) Stegmayer. Loved brother of Deborah (Don) London of Saint John, NB, Maureen McCarthy of Quispamsis, NB, and Shawn P. McCarthy of Ottawa. Step-brother of Wendy (Bob) Ferris of Ottawa, Cheryl (Dave) Brewster of Bathurst, NB, and Madeline Stegmayer of Dartmouth, NS. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles who will miss him. Paul's friends are invited to join his family for a memorial service at the Prinecrest Remembrance Chapel (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa), on Tuesday October 26 at 2:30 pm. Paul would be pleased if you would remember the Ottawa Humane Society which was one of his special charities.
