THOMAS, HAROLD LEVERT 1914 - 2004 - Passed away peacefully in Ste-Anne-de- Bellevue, Quebec, on October 14th. Predeceased by his wife Iris Elizabeth (Andrews) in 2000, and survived by his sons Andrew and Barry and four grandchildren. Harold was born in Saint John and served overseas in the Canadian Army Dental Corps. After the war, he returned to Saint John with his bride and began his career as a Dental Technician at the Lancaster DVA Hospital. Always active in the Canadian Legion, Harold was instrumental in the development of Lancaster Branch #69. With Iris, he was a tireless contributor to the work of St. George's Anglican Church, as well as to Meals on Wheels. Many thanks to the caring staff of 5A at the Ste-Anne's Veterans Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 1st at 11:00 AM at St. George's Church, West Saint John with reception to follow.
