GEORGETTE PARADIS

PARADIS, GEORGETTE - At Prince George, B.C., October 23, 2004, Mrs. Georgette Paradis of Grand Falls, New Brunswick passed away at the age of 80 years. She was the wife of the late Reid Paradis. Born at Edmundston in 1924, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Odelie (Lucas) Picard. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Georges Picard, Isabelle Soucy, Bertha Roy, Roland Picard and Paul Picard. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Mailloux (Rejean) of Prince George and Barbara Paradis of Edmundston, grandchildren, Tanya Painter (Jim) of Kamloops, B.C. and Maurice Mailloux of Port Clements, B.C., brother, Charles Picard of Montreal, sisters, Lorraine Johnson (Yvon) of Saint-Basile, Juliette Plourde (Ephrem) of Edmundston, Therese Lavoie of Montreal, Claudette Beaulieu (George) of Madawaska, Maine and Marie-Mai Dube of Edmundston, sisters-in-law, Eileen Picard (late Georges) and Nora Picard (late Roland) and brother-in-law, Norman Roy (late Bertha), as well as several nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, November 5th at 2 p.m. from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of Edmundston. Interment will follow in the Assumption Cemetery, Grand Falls, N.B. For those who wish, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family. www.oregans.ca
