TAIT, EARL H. - Earl Hall Tait, of Coverdale Rd., Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, November 12, 2004. Born in Sunny Brae, N.B., he was the son of the late Archibald and Bertha (Hall) Tait. Earl was a retired manager from Reed Company Ltd, a division G.E. Barbour Co. Ltd. with 48 years of service. He was a life-time member of the Maritime Commercial Travellers Association. He took great pride in his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren with whom he shared his wonderful sense of humor and many stories. Earl enjoyed horse races, as well as hunting and fishing salmon on the Miramichi and Restigouche Rivers. He is survived by his wife Alice (Steeves) Tait, son; David Tait (Doreen) of Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B., daughter; Janet Tait (Willi Knaus) of Kelowna, B.C., grandchildren; Devin Tait (Josee) and Dr. Aaron Tait (Elizabeth) both of Rothesay, N.B., and great grandchildren; Andrew and Morgan Tait, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brother Paul Tait. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd., Riverview, on Sunday, November 14, 2004 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Lloyd Bruce officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, N.B. Lung Association or to the Moncton Food Bank would be appreciated by his family.
