OTIS, RONALD CHARLES - The death of Ronald C. Otis, age 61, husband of Carol (Morrell) Otis, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, on Friday, November 12, 2004. He was the son of the late Melbourne and Helen (Callaghan) Otis. He is survived by his wife; daughters, Tammy and Brent Moore, Fairfield, Janet and Keith Guptill, Sackville, Judy and Russell Hall, Norton, and sons; Duane and Jennifer Otis, Cold Lake, AB, and Troy and Heather Otis, Fredericton, thirteen grandchildren, sisters; Merle Stevens, Hartland, Patricia and Bart Macumber, Hatfield Point, and brothers; Donald and Linda Otis, St. Andrews, Jock Otis, Norton, and Peter and Susan Otis, Saint John, and several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as two very special friends, David MacLeod and Frank Stevens. He was predeceased by his grandson Scott Russell and brothers Melbourne and Stuart. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November, 15, 2004 from Norton Wesleyan Church, 676 Route 124, followed by interment in Midland Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the memorial of the donor's choice.
