WAYNE M. GIBBON

GIBBON, WAYNE M. - Unexpectedly the death of Wayne Morrie Gibbon, husband of the late Linda (LeBlanc) Gibbon, of Saint John, occurred on Sunday, November 21, 2004 in Carmi, Illinois. Born in Saint John he was a son of the late Gordon and Lottie (Killam) Gibbon. Wayne was employed with Strescon Limited as a truck driver until his retirement. Wayne was a roll of honor member of the Royal Antedeluvian Order of Buffaloes since 1992. He was initiated in December of that year. He served as Grand Primo for the Grand Lodge of Ontario for 2003 and held offices over the years except for Treasurer and Secretary. He is survived by one son: Roger (Angela) Leger of Saint John; three daughters Tina (Ron James) Gibbon, Balinda (Mike Hill) Gibbon and Amanda (Jason Raynes) Gibbon all of Saint John; four brothers: Gordon (Buster), Donald, Leonard and Robert Gibbon, six sisters: Dorothy Mantle, Martina Sonier, Shirley Smith, Georgina Vienneau, Joy Irwin and Florence Parlee, five grandchildren: Soleil, Dylan, Caleb, Mikki-Linda and Taylor. Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by one brother Walter and sister Deanne. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Saturday and Sunday, November 27 and 28, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be celebrated from St. Peter's Church on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 10:30 am. Following cremation interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
