CARMAN CLARK JOHNSON
JOHNSON, CARMAN CLARK - Westcock, N.B. Carman C. Johnson of Westcock, N.B., passed away on Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Sackville, N.B., he was the son of the late John and Emma (Campbell) Johnson. Carman served in the Royal Canadian Army in World War II, where he was a trooper in a tank crew in the United Kingdom and Continental Europe during the war. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 26, Sackville. He retired as post master after thirty seven and one half years of service. Carman was a member of St. Ann's Anglican Church, Westcock, N.B., where he held past positions of Warden, Treasurer, Sexton and Vestry. He was vice president of the Westcock Cemetery Committee and former member of the Sackville Rotary Club. Carman was husband to Patricia (Wry) Johnson; father to Louise-Ann and her husband Terry Trainor; grandfather to Andrew and Peter Trainor; brother to Robert Johnson (Niagara Falls) and Patricia George; also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers John and James; one sister Mary Presseault. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell's Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation by request of the family. Funeral Service will be held from St. Anns Anglican Church, Westcock, on Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 11:00 AM, with Father Kevin Stockall officiating. Burial will take place at a later time in the Westcock Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carman may be made to the Westcock Cemetery or to St. Anns Memorial Fund in memory of Carman Johnson.
