Gerald "Chummie" Herbert Boss AMHERST - Gerald 'Chummie' Herbert Boss of Amherst, and formerly of Springhill, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2007. He was the son of the late Herbert and Alta Mae (Dowe) Boss. He is survived by his wife, Marion; children: David (Maggie), ON; Dana (Mary), AB, Beverley (Rensen) Mosses, ON, Rev Beth (Larry) Mattinson, PEI, and Darren (Indira), ON; 11 grandchildren; step-sister, Lorraine (Donnie) Terris, NS, and brother-in-law, Ron DeWolfe, NS. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Marion DeWolfe. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Furlong-Jones Funeral & Cremation Services of Amherst. No visitation or funeral by request. A private internment to be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity of choice. www.furlongjones.ca
