BURSEY, RALPH G. - The death of Ralph Gordon Bursey, of 20 Fourth Street, Saint John, husband of the late Evelyn (Peacock) Bursey, occurred on Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Elisha and Rebecca M. (Davidson) Bursey. Mr. Bursey was employed as a welder at Saint John Shipbuilding Ltd. for 48 years, before his retirement. Ralph was a long time member of the Church of St. Mary & St. Bartholomew and a member of the Foresters and was an avid sports fan, enjoyed reading and loved spending time at his cottage. He is survived by two sons, R. Bruce Bursey (Kathy) and Gary Bursey (Leanne), both of Saint John; one brother, Donald Bursey (Laura) of Springfield, NB; three grandchildren, Ryan, Kristen and Stephanie; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at the Church of St. Mary & St. Bartholomew, 648 Westmorland Road, Saint John, on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
