KILPATRICK, BASIL CHARLES - Of Grand Bay- Westfield, N.B., beloved husband of 49 years to Dorothy (Knight) Kilpatrick, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 28, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Woodstock December 19, 1933 he was a son of the late Charles and Hazel (Dow) Kilpatrick. He was employed by Sovereign General Insurance Company for over 25 years until his retirement in 1985. Surviving in addition to his loving wife Dorothy are his children Cyndy (Gary MacLeod) Charlotte, NC., Jeffrey (Heather) Shelburne, N.S., Gregory (Dawn) Grand Bay-Wesfield, NB., step-brother Richard (Lois) Thompson, Fredericton, NB., adored grandchildren, Erin, Melanie, Devin, Chelsea and Halie, as well as, several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was also predeceased by his step-mother Marion Kilpatrick, brother Eugene and sister Julia Rugen. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visitation on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at 11 am in Fallsview Chapel. Internment in Lower Greenfield Cemetery, Florenceville, NB on Thursday at 1pm.
