ALBERT J. GOGAN

GOGAN, ALBERT J. - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Joseph Gogan at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 30th, 2004; husband of Madeline Mary (Mascato) Gogan. Born in Saint John he is the son of the late Frederick and Matilda Gogan. Albert worked as a machine operator with the City of Saint John, retiring in 1986 after twenty five years of service. He was a member of St. Rose Church. Albert had a great love for working on cars, woodworking and thoroughly enjoyed bowling and dancing. Surviving in addition to his wife Madeline are his three daughters, Barbara Palmer (David) of Fairvale, NB, Norma Knight (John) and Nancy Russell (Dana) all of Saint John West, two sons, Gary and Stephen (Judy), all of Saint John, three sisters, Verna Bradbin, Armenie Reid and Genevieve Gogan, all of Saint John West, nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews and his faithful companion "Pepper". Albert was predeceased by his infant daughter Laura, sisters Eva Murphy, Eileen McMullin, Kay LeBlanc, brothers Ned, Angus and Clifford. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 2nd, 2004 at 11:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church. The interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the NB Extra Mural Program.
