MEHIGAN (nee McCARTHY), MARY LOUISE - Peacefully at Griffith McConnell Seniors Residence, on December 3rd, 2004. Predeceased by her husband Patrick Mehigan of Glasgow, Scotland. Born in 1910 in Cambridge, Mass., Louise came to Canada at an early age. During the war, she worked for the Government as a cipher clerk. After the war, she worked over 25 years for "Wabasso" as secretary to the vice president. Upon her retirement, she spent many happy years painting, travelling and visiting relatives and friends. Louise was predeceased by three brothers, George of Boston, Mass., Leonard and Alphonsus and sister Rita of Saint John, NB. She is survived by her sister Margaret Dean of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 Decarie Blvd (corner Isabella), Montreal, Quebec, on Monday, December 6, 2004 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Malachy's Church (corner of Clanranald and Isabella) on Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Quebec Branch, 2300 Rene Levesque West, Montreal, Quebec, H3H 2R5, would be appreciated.
