SIDNEY G. KILPATRICK
KILPATRICK, SIDNEY G. - Peacefully on Wednesday December 8, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Upham on April 20, 1920, he was the son of the late Walter and Irene (Reid) Kilpatrick. He was a resident of Saint John East the greater part of his life. He retired from NB Power in 1983. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, "Mr. Fix-it", and loved helping others. Sidney was a devoted husband of 49 years to the late Vivian (Ryan) Kilpatrick. He was a loving father and grandfather, his family was his priority. He is survived by five children; David of Calgary, Audrey Sullivan (Paul) of Florenceville, Daryl (Cheyenne) of Saint John, Regena Watson (Allison) of Dartmouth and Monica of Saint John; nine grandchildren: Emily, Maggie, Ann Katherine, Sean Sullivan; Kyle and Matthew Kilpatrick; Patrick, Andrew and Kathleen Watson; two sisters Pauline Kincade (Ron) and Barbara Fowler (Don) both of Upham and Sebring, Florida. Predeceased by six brothers: Ora, Stanley, Reginald, Bill, Arnold and John; and three sisters: Fannie Scott, Edna Tribe and Winnifred Beatty. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Stella Maris Church on Saturday December 11, 2004 at 10:30 a.m., with Father Weiss and Father Cochrane officiating. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
