NICHOLSON, JOAN SHIRLEY - The death of Joan Shirley Nicholson of Bairdsville occurred on December 8, 2004 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 69. Born in Oxbow she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Grace (McAskill) Jenkins. She is survived by two sons Rod (Shirley) of Nashville and Dana (Susan) of Bairdsville; two brothers Johnny Margison of B.C. and Monty Margison of Ottawa. Predeceased by her husband Allison Nicholson, parents, one sister Janice Nicholson, two brothers Donnie and Norman Jenkins. Resting at White's Funeral Home with visiting hours on Friday December 10 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday December 11 at 2 PM from White's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Ferrell officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer Fund or donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
