MITCHELL, DOROTHY E. - The death of Dorothy E. Mitchell, wife of the late Wesley F. Mitchell, occurred on December 12, 2004, at the Turnbull Nursing Home. She was born in Queens County, NB, daughter of the late William and Amy (Janes) Chambers. She was employed with the Dietary Department of the DVA Hospital. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 68, ex-service women. She is survived by three daughters Margaret (Richard) Cormier, Montreal, Heather Wright, Saint John, Sharron (Frank) Nice, Pennfield, NB, on son Lloyd Mitchell (Virgie), Pouche Coupe, BC, two foster children Lorraine Murray, Brantford, Richard (Kelly) Murray, Nova Scotia, two sisters Eileen Bell, Ottawa, Marion (Ernie) Cook, Hampton, eight grandchildren Tara, Andrea Cormier, Kimberley (Dan) Gillmore, Kelly Nice, Christa (Sean) Bosse, Wesley, Laura Wright, Katherine (Bill) Mattsson, two foster grandchildren Nichilas and Alexis Murray, five great-grandchildren Kristen, Kileigh Mattsson, Malcolm, Kathleen Gillmore, MacKenzie Bosse and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers James and Sidney Chambers and one sister Bertha Webb. Resting at Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2004, at 1:00 PM, from Brenans Chapel. Following cremation interment will take place at a later date.
