SMITH, DAVID LEE - The death of Dave Lee Smith, husband of the late Evelyn (Morrell) Smith, occurred on December 13, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born In Saint John he was the son of the late Edward G. and Sadie D. (Crouse) Smith. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He was employed with Saint John Ship Building Ltd. before his retirement. He is survived by his son David (Melanie), his daughters Dianne (Doug), Sharon (Allan), Stephanie (Shane), all of Saint John, his brothers Ronnie and Ken, his sisters Hilda Bond, Sadie McDonald, Borden L. Craddock, his grandchildren Joshua, Patrick, Lisa, Natasha and Samantha, his great-grandchildren Kyra, Taylor and Tamara, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by his brothers and sisters and his granddaughter Bobbi-Jo. Following cremation visiting will be held from Brenans Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2004, at 11:00 AM, from Brenans Chapel. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
