FENNELL, PATRICK JOSEPH - The death of Patrick Joseph Fennell, husband of the late Mary Constance (Gillis) Fennell, occurred unexpectedly on Friday December 17, 2004. Born 1922, in Saint John, he was the son of the late Louis John and Annie (O'Shaughnessey) Fennell. Patrick was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Tank Corp with Fort Garry Horse. He was a member of St. Mark's Church, Quispamsis, and the Fair Vale Outing Association. He is survived by his daughters Barbara Fennell of Saint John and Anne Fennell (Robert Chaiko) of Edmonton, AB; grandchildren Stephanie Sutton (Jeff) and their son Caden Sutton of Inuvik, NWT, Nathan Fowler and his children Jasmine Snow and Jordan Fowler of Barrie, Ontario, Penny and Briar Chaiko Galloway and their children Patrick and Graeme of Barrie, Ontario, Pam and Ken Levinstein and their children Matthew and Joshua of Richmond, BC; brothers Donald Fennell (Jean) and Allan Fennell both of Saint John; sister Joan Sparks (Jack) of Saint John; special friends Ron and Vondelle Perkins and Dianne Hayman; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brother Gerald Fennell. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424), with visitation on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Mark's Catholic Church, Quispamsis, on Wednesday December 22, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to the Salvation Army or to the charity of the donor's choice.
