WILLIAM HARRY "BILL" BLUNSTON
BLUNSTON, WILLIAM HARRY "BILL" - At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, December 18, 2004 William Harry "Bill" Blunston of Fredericton, passed away at the age of 60. Born in Fredericton, he was a son of the late Laurie and Doris (Flynn) Blunston. Bill, in his early years, was a heavy equipment mechanic with the Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers of the Canadian Armed Forces. He later was employed with Fredericton City Transit as a driver and mechanic, and most recently as a commissionaire for the RCMP. Bill was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch #4. He is survived by his wife Mildred (England); four sons Lee Blunston of Charlottetown, Dr. Shawn Blunston (Mary) of Grand Falls, Dr. Thayne Blunston (Jennifer) of Calgary, Chad Blunston (Colette) of Calgary; a step-daughter Chastity Murdock of Fredericton; six grandchildren D'Arcy, Matthew, Lauren, Grace, Quin and Rhys; four brothers Kenny (Aletha) of Fredericton, Eric (Cathy) of Hanwell, Keith of United States, Christopher (Gerry) of Fredericton; a sister Crystal (Rick) of Florida; a step-brother Michael MacLachlan (Joanne); step-mother Geneva; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Bill was also predeceased by a sister Kathleen Blunston. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at 4:00 pm. Rev. Wendell England will officiate. Interment will be held at a later date.
