JOYCE, RUBY MORGAN (PIKE) - On Saturday, January 1, 2005, Ruby M. Joyce passed away peacefully at her home. Wife of 55 years to the late James Richard Joyce, Ruby was born in St. John's Newfoundland on November 25, 1925. Ruby was the daughter of the late Harvey and Phoebe (Morgan) Pike. Ruby was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Ruby loved to play bingo and had been a wonderful homemaker to her family over the years. Ruby was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her children Sheila Faye (Eric) Arsenault, Victoria, BC., Jeanne (Paul) Cudmore Charlottetown, PEI., Cathy (Dan) O'Brien, Riverview, NB., Jamie (Melody) Joyce Calgary, AB., David (Janet) Joyce, Sussex, NB., brother David (Jeanette) Pike, St. John's, NF., eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Ruby was predeceased by her daughter P. Ruby Joyce, brother Edgar Pike, and sister Margaret Green. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 7, 2005 in St. Peter's Catholic Church on Clarendon Street at 10:30 am.
