GRANT, MILTON WALLACE - The death of Milton Wallace Grant, husband of the late Edith (Walton) Grant, of the Ridgewood Veteran's Wing, occurred on January 5, 2005 at his residence. Born in New Glasgow, NS, he was the son of the late George and Victoria Grant. He was a veteran of WWII. He was employed with Joseph A. Likely as a heavy equipment operator for over 32 years. He was a member of Park Avenue United Church, the Shriner's and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 53. He is survived by his son Brian and his wife Valerie of Saint John, his daughters Linda Hartin and her husband David of Phoenix, Arizona, Victoria Raynes and her husband Robert of Summerville, NB, his grandchildren Sandy Hartin, Tammy Grant, Danny Grant, Darrell Raynes, Cory Hartin and Shelly Hartin, his great-grandchildren Benjamin, Emily, Darah, Michael and Kaela and his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Daniel. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2005, at a time to be announced, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
