DeLONG, CECIL ALBERT "CEC" - Peacefully at his late residence on Friday January 7, 2005, Mr. Cecil A. "Cec" DeLong, R.C.A.F. 424 Squadron, of Winsloe, P.E.I. in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Muriel (nee Monteith) DeLong. Dear father of Judy (Les) Kilpatrick of Florenceville, N.B., Robert (Darlene) DeLong of Cornwall, Tom (Linda) DeLong of New Dominion, Ruth (Tony) Sturtz of Winsloe, and Al (Cindy ) DeLong of York Point. Also survived by nine loving grandchildren, Michael, Shawn, Cherie, Diana, Chris, Duncan, Jack, Cale and Carley; sisters, Dorothy Halman of Fredericton, N.B., Joan DeLong and Kathleen DeLong, both of Saint John, N.B.; and special nephew Peter J. DeLong of Barrie, Ontario. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home 33 Longworth Ave. Charlottetown until 9:45 Monday morning, then transferred to St. Dunstan's Basilica for funeral mass at 10 am. Interment to follow in the family plot at Sherwood Cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions in Mr. DeLong's memory may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Equipment Fund, Island Nature Trust or charity of choice.
