HASSELMAN, ALBERT JOSEPH - Died peacefully on January 7, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint Albert - Kent County and was the son of the late Edward and Domethile (Richard) Hasselman. Albert was employed with C.P.R. until his retirement in 1960. He is survived by one daughter Flora (Robert) Rackley of Hampton; four sons, Raymond Hasselman (Tracy), Leo Hasselman (Debbie), Ivan Hasselman (Mary) and Donald Hasselman (Carol), all of Saint John; sisters, Flora (Gerard) Poirier, Moncton, Dorice (Aldrice) Poirier, Moncton, Julia Boudreau, Richibucto; brother Art (Mary) Hasselman, Connecticut, USA; and 13 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Evangeline (Leger) Hasselman. Resting at A.W. Cavanagh Funeral Home, 91 Leinster Street (634-1712) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 12:00 pm from The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception followed by interment in St. Josephs Cemetery.
