LEIGHTON, NORA MAVIS - At the Passamaquoddy Lodge Nursing Home, St. Andrews, NB January 15, 2005 Nora Mavis (Smith) Leighton of St. Andrews, NB. Survived by her husband Rev. Canon Eric A. Leighton, one daughter Mavis Thompson of Saco, Me. and Melbourne, Fla., two granddaughters Rae Mavis of Saco, Me. and Erica May of Manhattan, New York. Nora served in England during World War II with the A.T.S. as an ambulance driver. By request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Wednesday January 19, 2005 at 2 pm from All Saints Anglican Church, King St., St. Andrews, NB with Archdeacon J.F.N. Jones and Rev. Canon John Matheson officiating. Order of Eastern Star service will be held Wednesday at 1 pm from the church. For those who wish memorials to the S.P.C.A. or the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family. The S.O.
