ROGERS, JAMES NEWTON - At the Sussex Health Centre, on Friday, January 21st, 2005 James Newton Rogers of Chipman, 68 years of age. Predeceased by his father Cecil Rogers and by seven year old sister Wanda. Survived by wife, Joan (Donovan) Rogers; by daughters Jocelyn (David) Kelly of Nova Scotia, Darlene Fearn (Norman Carter) of Cumberland Bay, Nancy (Terry) Stevens of Saint John and Kristina (Ben) Rogers of Fredericton; by mother Pearl (Doherty) Rogers of Chipman; by brother Dennis (Helen) Rogers of Chipman; by three step-children, Lloyd, Trina and Melissa Saunders; and by six grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. Chipman Funeral Home (339-6612) in charge of arrangements. Spring interment in the Red Bank United Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. At Jim's request there will be no memorial service and he requested no flowers, rather donations to Save the Children Fund.
