LEWIS, ROLAND MURRAY - The death of Roland Murray Lewis of Braun Crescent, Quispamsis, husband of Edna Bessie (Holmes) Lewis, occurred on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at the age of 89. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Delbert and Henrietta Lewis. He was a veteran of WWII. Roland was a member of Rothesay Baptist Church and was retired from the Saint John District Post Office since 1979. In addition to his loving wife of 60 years, he is also survived by one son Gordon (Susan) Lewis, one daughter Judith Colwell, two grandsons, three great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Road, Rothesay (849-1702) with visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 11:00 am in Rothesay Baptist Church. A reception will immediately follow in the Dr. Vincent Room.
