PARKE, ROBERT WALLACE - 23 January 2005. Bob Parke of Halifax, N.S. (formerly of St. Andrews, N.B.) died on Sunday, January 23rd, 2005 in the loving arms of his cherished wife, Eleanor. Son of the late Melvin and Annie (Hughes) Parke of Saint John, N.B. and dear brother of Doris (Mrs. Jack) Blackwell of Burlington, Ontario. Admired uncle of her daughters Elaine Garnett of Toronto and Gail (Dale) Todd of Brockville, Ontario. Step-father of John A. Salvagna and 'Uncle Bob' to his son, Robert John. Also survived by children of a previous marriage: Janet O'Neill (Philip), Robert C. Parke (Debra), Richard G. Parke (Cindy and former wife, Beatrice), and Stephen H. Parke (Kathie); grandchildren Andy O'Neill (Sonia), Kelly O'Neill, Philip and Graham Parke; great-grandaughter, Jenna O'Neill. Rested at his home in Halifax. Private funeral service conducted by the Rev. Canon Gary Thorne at St. George's Anglican Church followed by cremation. Donations to any tsunami relief fund would be gratefully appreciated.
