LACEY, HELEN BEATRICE - The death of Helen Beatrice Lacey of Oromocto occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Friday, February 4th, 2005. Born in Lower Cambridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Edna (Holder) MacAlpine and the beloved wife of 68 years to Wendell Lacey. Survived by her husband Wendell; and children, Karl Lacey (Irene) of Toronto, ON, Marie Keirstead (Jack) of Fredericton, NB, Audrey Hand (Frank) of Rothesay, NB, Joan Cooper (Harry) of Garnett Settlement, NB, Lloyd Lacey (Janet) of Edmonton, AB and Blair Lacey (Marcia) of St. Stephen, NB; ten grandchildren and four great- grandchildren; one brother, Alfred MacAlpine (Mary) of Penticton, BC; one sister, Edith Webb of Victoria, BC and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, February 6th, 2005 from 1- 4 pm. The funeral service will be at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 7th, 2005 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Upper Hampstead Cemetery.
