THERESA MAUDE LORD
LORD, THERESA MAUDE - Peacefully, at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, Mrs. Theresa Maude Lord, 96 of Back Bay, NB, formerly of Deer Island, NB, widow of Charles Greenlaw, and Lawrence Edward Lord, occurred on Saturday February 5, 2005. Born in Blacks Harbour, NB, on April 16,1909 she was a daughter of the late Frank A. and Ada (Hatt) Thompson. Theresa worked for Connors Brothers in the fish canning industry, as a packer for 50 years, in Blacks Harbour, Deer Island, and Back Bay Plants until her retirement a number of years ago. She will be lovingly remembered by her step-sons, Ralph Lord (Grace) of Campobello, and Prescott Lord of Rockland, Maine, step-daughters, Hazel Stuart (Ronald) of Leonardville, Deer Island, and Donna Gregg (James) of Vancouver, several step grandchildren, and cousins. Theresa was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), from where the service will be held at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at the St. George Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at 2: 00 pm. with Rev. Charles Yerxa officiating. Visiting Hours on Monday February 7, 2005, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment to take place in the St. George Rural Cemetery.
