McELWAINE, DONALD HARRISON - On Friday, February 4th 2005 at St. Joseph's Hospital, the death of Donald McElwaine occurred. Born in Saint John in 1927, he was the son of the late Percy and Doris (Poley) McElwaine. Donald is survived by his loving wife, Shirley (Rowe) McElwaine; three daughters: Kathy (Eugene) Anderson, Karen, and Kim (Peter) Marlow, all of Ont.; three sisters: Betty (Tom) Fenton of Ont., Audrey McElwaine of Saint John, and Ruth (Larry) Degrace of Ont.; six grandchildren: Mark, Sacha, Daniel, Paul, Amber, and Joey; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, a brother, Robert, predeceased Don. Donald worked for CN for over 32 years. Arrangements are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John, NB, with visitation on Monday, February 7th, 2005, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 8th, at 10 am from the Fundy Funeral Home "Chapel." The Interment will follow at a later date in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
