HOWES, A. WAYNE - The death of A. Wayne Howes, loving husband of Daphne (Graham) occurred unexpectedly on Monday February 7, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1950, in Youngs Cove, NB he was the son of Shirley and Marjorie (Moss) Howes of Cambridge Narrows. Wayne was employed by Morguard Investments as the Building Manager of City Hall, Saint John for 30 years. Wayne enjoyed sports and played a number of years with the men's slow pitch teams. He was well loved by his family and friends and will be sadly missed. Besides his loving wife and parents he was survived by his son Tim (Kris) Howes of Jasper, Alberta; daughter Jennifer (Marcus) Cormier of Airdrie, Alberta; grandchildren Allison, Megan, Nathan and Josh; sisters Frances Robinson of Cambridge Narrows, Sandra Kraglund of Saint John and Carol (Bill) Howes of Wickham; also several nieces and nephews. Following cremation, the family will receive visitors at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday February 11, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
