BAXTER, FREDERICK W. - The death of Frederick W. Baxter of Kingston, husband of Sandra (MacAllister) Baxter occurred peacefully surrounded by his family on February 11, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born at Saint John, son of the late Frederick and Ada (Whipple) Baxter. Fred was employed at T.S. Simms from 1967 - 1979 where he traveled the world. He then worked for the Department of Transportation from 1981 - 1992 at the Gondola Point Ferry. He was a member of Trinity Church, Kingston. Surviving besides his wife Sandra are two daughters, Lori Maker (Jeff) of Saint John, Deborah Peterson (Carl Kneeland) of Saint John; and two sons, Paul Baxter of Saint John, Keltie Baxter at home; and two grandchildren Kelsey Ann and Jordan Peterson. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Tuesday, 10:30am, at Trinity Church, Kingston, with Rev. Don Trivett officiating. Interment in Trinity Cemetery in the spring. Memorials to Canadian Cancer Society or donor's choice would be appreciated. Visiting 2-4pm and 7-9pm Monday.
