MILDRED J. BURDITT
BURDITT, MILDRED J. - At the Carleton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home on Friday, February, 11th, 2005; Mildred Jean (Babkirk) Burditt. Born in Elgin, NB, she is the daughter of the late Clarence and Alice (Pollock) Babkirk. Millie was a resident of the West Side most of her life and was a former member of Lancaster Baptist Church. For many years Millie worked with Unemployment Insurance and later with Canada Packers. In later years, Millie worked with Cedar Hill-Greenwood Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Dwight of Vancouver and Kirby of Saint John; one daughter, Margo Burditt of Jasper, Alberta; one grandson Bryn; former daughter-in-law, Susan; one brother Kenneth; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Millie was predeceased by her brothers, Walter and Laurie, and sister, Nina. By Millie's request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Cremation will take place followed by a graveside service in which friends are welcomed to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, February 16th, 2005 at 11:00 am at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Bible Society or charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
