MARILYN JEAN MUNROE
MUNROE, MARILYN JEAN - Marilyn J. (Holder) Munroe, age 52, wife of the late Richard Munroe, of Kingston, NB, died unexpectedly at home, on February 11, 2005. She was born in Sussex, NB, June 18, 1952, the daughter of the late Gordon and Anne (Armstrong) Holder. Marilyn was a much-loved nurse at the Sussex Health Centre. She had been involved in Guides Canada ever since she was old enough to go to Girl Guides. Marilyn loved children and they, in turn, loved her. She enjoyed canoeing, camping, and campfire songs. She received the Bronze Merit Award, in Guiding, and was a Guide Leader Trainer, as well as, the Guides' Provincial Music Trainer. Marilyn is survived by her daughter Terri; sister Carol Anne and Mike Foster, Saint John; and brother Jim and Bonnie Holder, Kingston; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home, (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting Sunday and Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. from the Church of the Ascension, 2980 Route 121, Apohaqui, on Tuesday, February 15, 2005.
