STEWART, NINA R. - The death of Mrs. Nina R. Stewart, wife of the late Earle Stewart, occurred on Friday February 11, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1927 in Chipman, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Clara (Doherty) West. Nina was an avid bowler and bingo player; she enjoyed her time as a Real Estate Agent with Canada Trust and her years as a Practical Nurse and loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving family: sons, Richard Iliffe (Pam) of Saint John, Eric Iliffe (Vanessa) of Vancouver, Gregory Stewart (Sandra) of Saint John and Gary Stewart (Marlene) of Saint John; daughters Eleanor Ellis (Ken) of Marrtown, NB and Barbara Grissom (Roger) of Alton, Illinois; step sons Glen Stewart (Rosemary) of Trenton, Ontario and Hazen Stewart (Frances) of Boston, Mass; brother Keith West (Mary) of Chipman; sisters Gladys Biggar of Saint John, Edythe Jardine of Chipman, Anne Bishop (Murray) of Chipman and Patricia Jordan (David) of Ripples; 14 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by her first husband John Iliffe, brother Gerald West and sister Sylvia Huntjens. Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) with visitation on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday February 14, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
