MacLELLAN, NIEYA T. - The death of Nieya T. MacLellan, of Saint John, wife of the late James Michael MacLellan, occurred on Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late George Sharbal Laba and Sheeha (Naharah) Stephen. Nieya was a member of the Ladies Maronites Society and the Canadian Lebanon Association. She is survived by two sons, M. James (Wendy) of Saint John and Peter J. (Mary Sullivan) of Slemon Park, PEI, one daughter, Maria T. Bowes (Richard) of Saint John, one brother, Joseph H. Stephen (Della) of Gondola Point, two grandchildren, Christopher James and Scott Michael MacLellan, several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Jake, Tonouse, Michael, Maurice, Paul, John and Peter Stephen and sisters, LuLu Rossiter and Annie J. Lewis. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Stella Maris Church on Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
