McNIVEN, MARGARET-ANNE LAURA - With deepest sadness, we regret to announce the loss of Margaret-Anne Laura McNiven at the Saint John Regional Hospital, February 18, 2005, with her family and friends by her side. Margi was born November 12, 1964 in Saint John to Donald and Barbara (Dow) McNiven. Margi graduated from Saint John High School in 1983. Her most recent employments were at Mosher Chedore and Clark Drummie. Margi received great joy and strength from her faith as a Christian. She was very active, endlessly volunteering, being a dedicated hockey mom, and applying her creative talent to her rustic country treasures. Margi was known for her great kindness, her vibrance and love of life. Her selflessness, compassion and generous spirit endeared her to the hearts of the many lives that have been blessed by knowing her. A loving and devoted Mother, she leaves behind her greatest gift, her son Matthew John (Katie McLellan), by whom, among so many, she will be deeply missed, including, her father Donald; her mother and best friend Barbara Jean; her boyfriend Jason MacKinnon; her siblings Dawn (Dr. Paul Kerr), Jim, John (Monique St.Pierre), Carolyn (David Lint), Peter (Kelly) and Lori. She was a special "Auntie" to Siobhan, Laura, David, Molly and Maggie Fiona (Kerr), William and Matthew (Lint), Khrystyne and Marley (McNiven); and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Our hearts and homes have been changed forever by Margi's love. Arrangements for Margi are under the professional care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John NB. (646-2424), with visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held from the Forest Hills United Baptist Church on Wednesday February 23rd, 2005 at 11am.
