LLOYD, WILLIAM H. - At the Ridgewood Veterans Wing on Friday, March 4th, 2005; William Howard Lloyd, formerly of Centennial Drive, West Saint John, NB, husband of the late Irene (Cook) Lloyd. Born in Chatham, NB, he is the son of the late Michael and Helen (Nelson) Lloyd. Bill lived his earlier years in the Chatham area and had been in Saint John since 1946. He was a member of St. Rose Church. Bill served overseas in the Forestry Crew with the Canadian Army during the Second World War. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69. He was a former member of the Recycled Teenagers Bowling League. Bill is survived by three daughters, Loretta Lyons (James) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Pat Hasson (Donnie Sheils) of Grand Bay, Heather Marie Tremblay of Saint John West; three brothers, Mike (Rose), George, and Earl (Verona), all of Chatham, NB; one sister, Pearl Latulip (Ernie) of Douglastown; four granddaughters, Tammy Brine (Chris), Tracy Graham (Virgil), Theresa Lyons (Paul), Tanya Campbell (Mark); five grandsons, Scott Robson (Kim), Chris Robson (Lisa), Darren, Mason and Michael Lloyd; six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was predeceased by brothers Frank, Jack, and Arnold. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the visitation will be held on Saturday from 7-9 pm and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 7th, 2005 at 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church. The interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. A tribute to a veteran service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 7:00 pm.
