PONTBRIAND, ELSIE MARGERY - The death of Elsie Margery Pontbriand of Chipman, NB, wife of the late Ernest Pontbriand, occurred suddenly at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB, March 4th, 2005. Born in North Forks, NB to the late Albert and Emma Wheaton, Elsie is survived by five daughters, Reta Dignard (Ralph), Frances Duplessie (Anthony), Edith Duguay (Frank), all of Saint John, NB, Linda St. Couer (Joseph) of Quispamsis, NB, and Phyllis Sowers (Darrel) of Orlando, Florida; three sons, Danny (Robin) of Chipman and Paul (Shirley) of Moncton, NB, David (Shari-Lee) of Chipman, NB. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert and Richard, both of Chipman, NB. Elsie has four sisters, Avis Pyne of Chipman, Joyce Sleep (Ronald) of Minto, Betty Foss (Murray) and Glenda Goodheart (Buddy), both of Salmon Creek, NB; one brother John Wheaton (Alice) of Salmon Creek, NB; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Elsie was predeceased by two sisters, Marilyn Ackerson of Minto, NB and June Jordan of Ripples, NB. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home, 28 Northrup Drive, Chipman, NB with visitation Monday, 2 PM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. Funeral from the Chipman Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 AM Tuesday, March 8th, 2005, Father Stephen officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of donor's choice.
