WITHERLY, ETHEL MAY - On March 5, 2005 at the Tobique Valley Hospital, Ethel M. Witherly, age 87, of Tobique Valley Manor, formerly of Arthurette, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Born in St. Almo, she was the daughter to the late Duncan and Alma (Smith) Reed. She was a beloved mother to four daughters, Marguerite (Clarence) Campbell, Carol (Donald) Wolverton, Sandra (Vaughn) Tompkins, Marla (Calvin) Henry; two sons, Marshall (Sandra) Witherly and Vaughn (Brenda) Witherly; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Alice McNutt of Moncton and Bertha Phillips of St. Almo; one brother Ben Reed of St. Almo. Predeceased by her parents and one grandson, Corey Tompkins. Resting at White's Chapel, Plaster Rock, with visiting Monday, March 7th from 1-2 pm with funeral service following at 2 pm with Rev. H.M. Lewis officiating. Interment in Arthurette Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
