GRANT, BONITA LEE "BONNIE" - Of the Turnbull Nursing Home, passed away peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 8, 2005. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Gaines) Grant. Bonnie attended the School For The Blind in Halifax, NS., and was a very accomplished pianist as a child. She attended C.G.I.T. at the Carleton Kirk and in her earlier days, she played piano for a number of C.N.I.B Functions. Bonnie's love of music was foremost throughout her entire life. She is survived by her sister Linda (Ian) Black and niece Dorothea Brideau, her step-sisters Ellen Gallant and Sarah (Colin) Hale, her step-brother Mark (Susan) Hersey and their families, as well as one aunt, one uncle, and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-mother Mildred Grant. There will be no visitation and a Memorial Service will be held in Fallsview Chapel on Friday, March 11, 2005 at 11:00 am. Arrangements entrusted to Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home (634-1701). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Turnbull Nursing Home, C.N.I.B. or the charity of donor's choice.
