SAVOIE, YVON - (1928-2005) - Pointe-Sapin - At the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday, March 25th, 2005, at the age of 77, passed away Yvon Savoie, spouse of Laudia (Robichaud) from Pointe-Sapin. Born March 6, 1928, he was the son of the late Fred Savoie and the late Mélina (Bordage). He is survived by his wife, as well as five sons: Ronald Daigle (Jeanine) from Haut-Barachois, Donat Savoie (Sheilla) from Chipman, Blair Savoie (Kim) from P.E.I., Valmond Savoie (Barbara) from Riverview and David Savoie from Campbellton; one daughter, Flora Stewart (John) from St-Louis; eleven grandchildren: Renée, Allain, Jacques, Joanne, Brenda-Lee, Janice, Holly, Ashley, Justin, Megan and Jessica; four brothers: Joseph, Arthur and Alyre all from Pointe-Sapin, and Alfred from St-John; two sisters: Marguerite and Christina, both from Moncton; and many nieces and nephews and four grand-nephews. He is predeceased by four children: Joanne, Allain, Perry and Bruno, as well as two brothers: Antoine and Ovila. The family is now receiving visitors at the Pointe-Sapin Parish Hall. The funeral service will be held at the Saint-Joseph RC Church in Pointe-Sapin, on Monday, March 28th, at 11:00a.m. Visiting hours: this Monday from 9am until the departure for the funeral.
