(nee Barfitt) Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, July 14, 2008, Nettie May Duffett (nee Barfitt), aged 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Norman, infant son John; sisters Violet Barfitt, Rita Newell and Dru Astle; brothers Hector Barfitt and Warren Barfitt. Leaving to mourn her daughter Norma Summers; son John; cherished grandchildren Jonathan and Jessica Summers; sister Mary Mercer; brothers Stuart Barfitt (Doreen) and Keith Barfitt; sisters-in-law Ceclie and Shirley Barfitt and Betty Ivany; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; then on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral Service to be held from The Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 2 p.m. The Interment will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 11 a.m. from the Anglican Cemetery, Forest Road.
