CAMERON, ROY DOUGLAS - At the Oromocto Public Hospital on Tuesday March 29, 2005 Roy Douglas Cameron of Upper Hampstead, NB passed away at the age of 90. Born in Upper Hampstead, NB he was a son of the late James and Mabel Cameron and husband of the late Stella Cameron who passed away August 2004. Roy had a great passion for horses. He trained race horses and travelled all over the Maritimes to horse sales and races. Roy was also a member of the Gagetown Gems. He is survived by two sons Douglas (Eileen) and Floyd (Shirley) all of Upper Hampstead; four daughters Ruth Allen of Upper Gagetown, Donna Banks (Ross), Doreen Underhill (Victor), Diane Urquhart (Willard) all of Gagetown; 16 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by one brother Gordon and two sisters Reta Hughes and Stella Parker. At Roy's request there will be no visitation. A graveside burial will take place on Saturday April 2, 2005 at 11:00 am at St. John's Anglican Cemetery, in Gagetown, NB with Rev. Gerry Laskey officiating.
