PERLEY, RITA ANN - The death of Rita Perley of the Tobique First Nation occurred on April 2, 2005 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 75. Born in Maliseet, she was the daughter of the late Simon and Elizabeth Paul. She is survived by her husband Morris Perley; seven daughters Mary Geraldine (Checker) (Bob) Kier, Jacqueline Perley, Carol Angela Perley, Lesha Perley, all of Tobique, Deidra Perley of Grand Falls, Rhonda (John) Toupou of California, and Barby Perley (Mike) of Tobique; eight sons Lawrence (Larry) (Loretta), Gordon Paul (Lorna), Ronald Reid (Ann), Eric (Ricky), Vernon (Laura), Darren, Brian and Randall (Stephanie Tara), all of Tobique; 33 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters-in-law. Resting at 12 Perley Road, with visiting on Sunday evening, April 3rd until time of service. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 5th at 2 pm from St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Curtis Sappier officiating. Interment in St. Ann's Cemetery at a later date.
